The developers of The Charleston Club, Daniel Island are Joe Land and Stu Cass, both Charlestonians. Joe, a USC alumnus, owned the 8th largest refrigerated transportation company in North America before investing in real estate locally in 1995. Stu operates Gulf Pacific, a natural gas marketing and trading company, as well as developing office buildings, retail centers and residential communities. Together their Seafield Capital Partners has built office buildings and retail centers throughout the Charleston-Daniel Island area with anchor tenants such as Atlanta Bread, Bank of America, BB&T and Ryland Homes. Providing developmental, operational and marketing/sales expertise are principals of the highly successful King's Creek Plantation in Williamsburg, Virginia - Kevin Jones and Tom Ruhf. As a team, they are committed to creating not only Charleston's first private residence club, but also Charleston's finest vacation experience.
